Chloe, Espoir School of Dance Principal, BA (Hons) Ballet Education, LRAD, ARAD, RAD RTS, DDE, ANATD, Silver Swans Licensee

Chloe grew up in Ipswich and always had a huge passion for dance. She competed in festivals and competitions and was awarded a full scholarship to perform with English Youth Ballet. She was also a Suffolk Ballet Scholar until the closure of the programme in 2012.

At 18, she began studying at the Royal Academy of Dance on their BA (Hons) Ballet Education and Licentiate programmes. Whilst at the RAD, she was awarded Advanced 2 Ballet with Distinction and gained 95% in her final teaching assessment. She enjoyed being involved in the launch of the RAD’s Discovering Repertoire Syllabus, performing at a number of official launch events and becoming their first student to take a Discovering Repertoire exam, passing with 94%. She went on to graduate with a first class honours degree and a distinction in the LRAD programme.

Upon graduation, she moved back to Ipswich and has now spent many years sharing her love of dance with the next generation. She has furthered her studies, gaining the ISTD’s Diploma of Dance Education, Diplomas in Contemporary and Acrobatics with the NATD and the RAD’s Silver Swans Licensee. She is also the only Approved Tutor for the RAD’s Assistant Teacher Award in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. She holds an up-to-date DBS, a First Aid certificate, Safeguarding Training and a Chaperone Licence.

It is Chloe’s mission to deliver fun and well thought out classes, where students’ talent can be nurtured each and every lesson. Her students develop strong technique, musicality and performance qualities, evidenced in the 100% pass rate of her students in examinations.
